The festival of Ramnavami is dedicated to Lord Rama. Lord Rama was born on the Navami tithi of the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. Rama is called Maryada Purushottam, he is the symbol of virtue. In Indian tradition, this festival is celebrated as great festival. On this day, people earn virtue by bathing in Saryu River. On this day, Ramcharit Manas are recited at many places, which gives peace to the mind. The next day, after worshiping Lord Rama, food should be given to Brahmins and donate some money and cloth.

Fasting of Ramnavami festival is done by women, even if men can do it. Those who fast should get up in the morning and clean the entire house by spraying Ganga Water. One should take clean clothes after bathing and take a vow. After this, a square piece of wood should be placed in a glass filled with water made from yarn. And leave some silver ornament there. It is considered as a symbol of Ganesha. If you want, you can also keep a small statue of Ganesha. Ganesh ji is worshiped before performing any fast. While listening to the fast story, it is also important to listen to the story by taking grains of wheat, millet etc. in hand.
On the day of fasting of Rama Navami festival, there is a special method of decorating in the temple or house with flag, torans and bandanwar etc. flag is called pataka which is made of red cloth in triangle shape. On the day of the fast, the Kalash is established and worships the family of Ram ji. On this day, a hymn, kirtan, remembrance, charity, and havan should be performed to Lord Rama. Ram Katha is organized from place to place, which the artist presents.

Along with observing this fast, the ideals of Maryada Purushottam Shri Rama's character should be embraced with heart.
Lord Ram's matriseva, maternal love, brotherly love etc should be adopted in life. God did not even distinguish caste-religion and protect refugee. On this day every person should pledge that he should follow the path of Shri Ram. In Hindu, Ram Navami is celebrated by worshiping on the day of Ram Navami. Items required for the puja are roli, rice, water, flowers, a bell and a conch. After this, the youngest female members of the family apply tilak to all the family members. Tilak is applied to every person in the family participating in the puja. All the members first sprinkle water and roli on the deities and after that sprinkle a handful of rice on the idols. Then everyone stands and performs the aarti of God and the collected Ganges water is sprinkled on all the people. During the entire puja, bhajans and aartis continue. At the end the prasad is distributed to all the people gathered in the puja.

Ram, Sita and Laxman were going into the forest. Seeing Sita ji and Lakshman being tired, Ram ji thought of stopping a little and resting, And went to an old lady's house. The old lady was cutting yarn. The old lady paid tribute to them and made them sit, bath, meditate and feed them. Ram ji said, "mother, first feed pearls to my goose, then I will eat". Where will the pearl be with the old lady. She was poor and used to cut yarn. She did not feel right to say no to the guest. She was confused. So, strengthening her heart, she went to the king and spread her hands and started pleading for pearl. Raja went into deep thoughts she has no food and are asking for pearl. In this situation, there is no question of getting the pearl back from the old lady. Finally the king gave the pearl to the old lady by speaking to the servants.

The old lady came back home with pearls and feed goose a pearl. Also attended guests. Ram ji, Sita ji and Lakshman ji started resting in the night. On the way back, Ram Ji planted a pearl tree on old lady's place of water. Days passed and the tree grew, the tree started growing but the old lady did not know anything. People from the nearby tree devoured the pearl tree and started carrying the pearl. One day while the old lady was sitting under her, she was cutting yarn, then a pearl fell on her lap. The old lady came to know then. she taken pearl in a cloth and left for the palace. she put the bundle of pearls in front of the king. Seeing all these pearls, the king was surprised.
On the king's asking, the old lady told the whole thing to the king. king got greed in his mind. He started asking for the tree from the old lady. The old lady said that all the people around take it, even if you want it, you can take it. What do i have to do with pearl.
 The king immediately ordered the tree and planted it at his door. But thorns grew in place of  pearls in that tree. And the clothes of the visitors began to deteriorate due to thorns.
One day a thorn pricked in the queen's feet and pained. The king picked up the tree and sent it back to the old lady's house. Pearls started growing on the tree as before. The old lady lived comfortably and distributed lots of pearls to everyone.

By performinging the fast of Shri Rama Navami, the knowledge of the person increases. His patience power expands. Apart from this, worshipers also have an increase in thought power, intelligence, devotion, and purity. It is said about this fast, When this fast is performed with devotion and performing lifelong, then its highest virtues are attained. 
Shri Ram used to wake up in the morning and touch his parents' feet. On the day of Ramnavami, a large number of devotees visits temples and sing devotional hymns in praise of Rama And to celebrate his birth anniversary, his idols swing in paalna. Ayodhya, birthplace of Lord Rama, focal point of Ramnavami festival. Ram, his wife Sita, Lakshman And Hanuman's rath yatras are processed from many temples.

According to Hindu scriptures, to end the atrocities of Ravana in Tretayuga and establish the good atmosphere again Lord Vishnu incarnated as Shri Rama. 

Shri Ram ji was born in the house of King Dasharatha on the Navami tithi of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. Lord Shri Rama was born on earth to end demons. In the Treta Yuga, to end the terror created by Ravana and the demons, Shri Ram came in the form of  Maryada Purushottam. ramji also called Raghukul Nandan. 
Chaitra Shukla Navami has special significance from the religious point of view. Raghukul Shiromani Maharaj Dasaratha and Maharani Kaushalya on the day of Chaitra Shukla Navami in Treta Yuga, the entire universe creator Akhilesh was born as a son of their. Ram was born at 12 o'clock in the day, Mother Kaushalya got overwhelmed by seeing the beauty and glory of Ram. 
Devlok also seemed to fade after seeing the Shri Ram Janmotsav in front of Awadh. In the birth anniversary, the deity, sage, eunuch were all joining and enjoying. We celebrate Rama Janmotsav every year on Chaitra Shukla Navami. On the day of Ramnavami, Goswami Tulsidas started the creation of Ramcharitmanas. 

Ramnavami of Ayodhya

In the form of Ramnavami, the birthday of Lord Shri RamChandra, the deity of Hindus is celebrated all over the country But it is celebrated with great pomp in Ayodhya. A fair is held here on this day and devotees from every corner of the country reach this fair.  Millions of devotees from abroad come to Ayodhya and bath in the Saryu river in the morning and perform Bhajan Kirtan. 
Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, has been known as the most sacred place of religion and culture since ancient times. Ayodhya, which was the capital of the Treta Yuga dynastic kings, holds importance from archaeological point of view.
The major reliable and historical sites of Ayodhya include Kaushalya Bhawan, Kanak Bhawan, Kaikeyi Bhawan, Kop Bhawan and Ram Janmabhoomi, the location of Shri Ram's coronation is credible to the Ratna throne. Special events are held in Kaushalya Bhawan temple. 
Ayodhya is also famous for its major revolutions on different occasions.Like Chaurasi Parikrama, Fourteen Kosi Parikrama on the occasion of Ramnavami, five Koshi Parikrama on Akshaya Navami on Kartik's Ekadashi and the inter governmental circumambulation is regular and all the major temples and pilgrimages of Ayodhya join this parikrama.
